Ingredients

1/2 lb each Ground beef and Italian sausage or 1 lb hamburger

1 chopped onion
- 2 ribs chopped celery (optional)
- 15 oz can tomato sauce

14 oz can stewed tomatoes

(Or 1 quart home-canned tomatoes)

1/2 cup water

1 drained can mushrooms optional

4 oz spaghetti broken

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper as needed

1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions

Fry meat, celery, and onions. Drain well.

Add all remaining ingredients except sour cream, to skillet. Bring to boil, cover and reduce heat. Stir often to separate spaghetti. 14 – 16 minutes. If needed add extra 1/4 cup of water to keep noodles covered.

Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and cool for 5 minutes.
