This room is very popular, having over 266 uses since it was installed a year ago! 

May 1, 2024

The door has been installed! We are waiting for the handle, but we can still use the room! Please see the Adult Services desk to reserve this room for up to 2 hours. 

April Grant Update

April 25, 2024

The installation date for the study room door has been scheduled for May 1, 2024. It should only take a day to construct! Following its construction, the room will be open for reservation at the Adult Services Desk.

The American Library Association approved us to move into the next phase of our grant!

We acquired three bids from local construction and door companies that were presented at the March Library Board Meeting. The Library Board approved a quote from Handyman Lake Orion LLC. We will be receiving notice soon of when the materials will be shipped and the installation scheduled. 

This space will be available for tutoring, telehealth sessions, or simply as a quiet area to work. We can’t wait to provide this valuable resource for those who need it. 

Brandon Township Public Library receives national grant for small and rural libraries 

$10,000 grant will help the library work with residents with disabilities on creating a quiet study space.
