Getting a Library Card

Anyone who lives; owns property or works in Brandon Township is eligible to receive a Brandon Township Library Card. The first card is free, replacement cards cost $1.00. Proof of residency is required. We accept a driver’s license or State ID with a current address in Brandon Township, a utility bill, rent receipt, or tax bill. If you are a student enrolled in the Brandon School District but live outside of Brandon Township, you can receive a card valid for one year from date of registration for a fee of $6.00. You will need a current student ID or student enrollment form. (click here for Verification of Student Enrollment Form.)

Those individuals not residing in Brandon Township may purchase a Non-Resident card for an annual fee of $150 per family or $100 per individual.

A child of any age may obtain a library card when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. An application form must be filled out and signed by the parent/guardian; the parent/guardian is responsible for the materials their child borrows.

When coming to the library, you should have your library card with you to borrow materials. You do not need a library card to use library materials, attend programs, make photocopies or request reference information from the public reference desks.
