Pet First Aid
July 31 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 amFree
Don’t miss this paw-some program! Robyn Elman and Paul Steil of In-Home Pet Services will talk about pet care, including pet poisons, muzzles, pet-friendly emergency preparedness kits, and traveling with pets in the car. Registration recommended.
First 10 households that register will receive a plush dog to practice on for the program!
This 1-hour intro to pet first aid will have a lecture, hands-on practice, and time to ask questions at the end! Since this is normally an in-person event, here are some tips to make the most out of it!:
—Please keep yourselves on mute and you can unmute yourself as needed at any time.
—Change to speaker view rather than the gallery view
—Be sure to join the meeting with video if you’re comfortable, so we can see/assist with your practice
—have with you a (largest possible) stuffed animal (preferably a dog) along with either a shoelace or a gauze roll or a long thin piece of fabric, or anything similar.
