To support the Brandon Township Public Library through special activities and acquisition of additional library materials.

When and Where We Meet
The fourth Tuesday of February, April, June, August, October, and November at 7:00 pm in the Library’s Community Room.
Book Sales
Ongoing sales of used books will be held in the Friends Alcove just off the main corridor during regular Library hours.
How do I donate my used books?
Just bring them to the library; be sure to ask for a tax-donation receipt.
What books can I donate?
The Friends of the Library accepts all gently used books*, audio books, VHS videos, CD’s and DVD’s.
*excluding textbooks, encyclopedias and dictionaries
How can I join?
Membership is $10 for an individual/student/senior membership, $25 for a family membership or $100 for a patron/business membership.
What We Have Done
- Donated a TV-VCR used for education programs
- Hosted a Library Staff Appreciation Week.
- Purchased books for the Youth Department.
- Sponsored the children’s Thanksgiving and Christmas Programs.
- We provided partial funds for the Grassroots Music Series.
- We partially funded the purchase of the new shelving in the Children's Department.
- Funded the purchase of 2 receipt printers.
- Purchased all books for Battle of the Books.
- We have t-shirts, visors and book bags available for sale at the circulation. desk as well as an ongoing sale of used books, DVDs and audio and videotapes in the Friends alcove.
Our Future Goals
To provide continued support to the library in special activities coordinated with the monthly library programs of scheduled special events.
To further develop our monthly newsletter Friendly Notes, to provide timely information on our special activities and book sales.
To increase our membership thereby enabling us to fund new and more frequent special activities, which provide the “extras” that make Brandon Township Public Library a great asset to our community.
